Cardi B Calls For Teacher Pay Raises & More Safety in Schools: ‘America Must be Entertainment to Other Countries’

One week after the tragic shooting in a Parkland, Florida high school, Cardi B joins the list of celebrities standing up for gun safety—and she did so in the most Cardi B way possible.

The rapper took to Instagram to post a series of memes, the first of which defended underpaid teachers in America.  The photo, which shows LeBron James looking confused is paired with the concept “y’all want teachers to effectively prepare our youth, carry straps, and bust back at school shooters but at the same time only pay them $40,000 a year.”

The caption shared the sentiment with a bit of a Cardi B twist, writing, “America must be entertainment to other countries.”

The second photo is a plain white background with black text that reads “Ya wanna know what’s the problem? That the government only put metal detectors in schools in the HOOD!” with Cardi B adding that she was searched every day at her high school in the Bronx. See the post below.
