Kanye West Makes Bizarre Call To Hot 97’s Ebro & Reportedly Splits With Scooter Braun’s Management

Kanye West’s puzzling behavior persisted on Tuesday (April 24). The mercurial artist called up Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning to repeatedly tell host Ebro Darden, “I love you” on the air. West even sang his own rendition Stevie Wonder’s “I Just Called To Say I Love You” while refusing to have any substantial conversation. The call comes on the heels of Darden airing out a private conversation he recently had with West. According to the radio host, the rap superstar loves Donald Trump and doesn’t understand the impact of co-signing right-wing commentator Candace Owens. Kobalt’s Revenue Grows 23.5 Percent, While Net Losses Continue to Widen

The rise in income represents the company’s largest annual percentage increase in three years. As usual, Kobalt enjoyed explosive revenue growth while widening annual losses in its most recent fiscal year filings with Companies House, the U.K. equivalent of the U.S. SEC’s EDGAR system. For the year ended June 30, 2017, Kobalt lost $34.8 million over nearly $321 million in total revenue, according to its filings which were filed April 9 and became available for viewing earlier this month. That performance compares with a $30.04 million net loss in the prior year, when revenues were nearly $260 million. With revenue growing 23.5 percent, that represents its largest annual percentage increase in three years. The statistic is even more impressive considering Kobalt no longer counts...

Neil Young & Crazy Horse Announce First Shows Since 2014

Neil Young is about ready to bring Crazy Horse out of the barn. The veteran rocker posted a note on his Neil Young Archives page confirming that the fitfully active group would return to the stage May 1 and 2 at Warnors Theatre in Fresno, California. “First time in a long time, live on stage. No rehearsal,” Neil tersely stated in the post, describing what will take place onstage. And considering the Horse’s reputation as a notoriously mercurial onstage creature, this news should have fans worked up in an anticipatory frenzy. The news follows Neil claiming in a Rolling Stone interview that Neil Young and Crazy Horse has “an incredible album in the can that’s a recent album. Alchemy.” Whether new material from this album will actually be debuted is anyone’s guess, but one auxiliary Horseman ...

Music Modernization Act Heads to Vote in House Tomorrow

Earlier this month, the bill was passed by the House Judiciary Committee with a 32-0 vote. The Music Modernization Act is scheduled for a vote in the United States House of Representatives on Wednesday, with expectation the bipartisan legislation will pass.  Earlier this month, the bill — which has unprecedented support from organizations across the music industry — was passed by the House Judiciary Committee with a 32-0 vote.  The Music Modernization Act combines three bills. The principal of those is, confusingly, also called the Music Modernization Act, which creates an organization to collect and distribute mechanical royalties, while offering streaming services protection from lawsuits over statutory damages for copyright infringement filed after January. Damian Lewis as Toronto’s Former Crack-Smoking Mayor, Rob Ford

Damian Lewis First Crack at Playing Rob Ford … Nailed It!!! 4/24/2018 11:04 AM PDT “Billions” star Damian Lewis looks totally unrecognizable on set, which is a good thing … because he’s playing Toronto’s former crack-smoking mayor, Rob Ford. Lewis was spotted in character on the set of “Run This Town” in Toronto on Monday, after spending nearly 7 hours in makeup to transform into the disgraced ex-Mayor … and the resemblance is uncanny. The film will focus on Ford’s last year of his mayoral term, which was rocked by scandal when he was caught on video smoking crack in 2014 and took a leave to go to rehab. Those involved with the movie have referred to it as “historical fiction,” instead of a Rob Ford biopic … but ...

Looking forward to another championship run. #bandsamakeherdance.” Remember, Gronk said he was going to contemplate his NFL future after the Pats lost the Super Bowl to the Eagles back in February.  There was some talk he would leave football and pursue a career in Hollywood or the WWE.  Guess those...

Rich The Kid Sticks To Rappin’ About ‘Dead Friend’ Lil Uzi Vert

Rich The Kid Lil Uzi Vert Is a ‘Dead Friend’ 4/24/2018 7:05 AM PDT EXCLUSIVE Rich the Kid made it pretty clear there’s no hope for reconciliation when it comes to his beef with Lil Uzi Vert and all you have to do is listen to the lyrics of his new diss song, “Dead Friends.” We got Rich the Kid out in NYC Monday and asked him about the beef. RTK dodged our question about the feud in favor of rapping the lyrics from his new track and that’s telling, especially if you’ve seen the video. If you haven’t … RTK puts out a hit, murders and buries what everyone believes is a Lil Uzi look-alike six feet under. If there was any doubt the guy in the video was supposed to be Lil Uzi, RTK seems to clear that one up.  [embedded content]
