A day after he was accused of sexual assault, Primary Wave co-CEO David Guillod has taken a leave of absence from the company, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Ted actress Jessica Barth said yesterday that Guillod drugged her at a dinner in 2012 and then sexually assaulted her. Guillod, an executive producer on Atomic Blonde whose clients include Gina Rodriguez, Paula Patton and Meagan Good, joined Primary Wave in 2015 when it merged with the company he founded, Intellectual Artists Management. “Following recently reported accusations, David Guillod is taking a leave of absence from Primary Wave Entertainment, effective immediately, in order for this matter to be thoroughly investigated,” according to a joint statement from the Primary Team executive team. “We take any accusations...

Pre-Orders for Taylor Swift’s ‘Reputation’ Reach More Than 400,000 units

Pre-orders for Taylor Swift’s “reputation” have reached more than 400,000 units and the album has become Target’s biggest music pre-sale of all-time. Big Machine Records told The Associated Press on Friday that pre-orders for Reputation, to be released Nov. 10, are double the number of pre-orders for Swift’s 1989 album a week before its release in 2014. The pre-order number includes purchases at iTunes, Target, Walmart, Amazon and Swift’s website. Target also confirmed Friday that Reputation is its largest music pre-sale ever. Swift has released four songs from her sixth album so far, including “Look What You Made Me Do” and “…Ready for It?” The singer’s last three albums — 1989, 2012’s Red and 2010’s Speak Now — have each sold over a million units in their debut weeks.

K-pop meets indie on the upbeat “Bye Babe,” a new song released today (Nov. 3) featuring popular Korean indie icon 10cm and Chen, a member of the boy band EXO. The funky pop/rock track has a bubbly folk vibe, and was co-written by the pair of singers, whose mix of sweet and emotive vocals blend together over the sweet melody. It was released as part of SM Entertainment’s on-going SM Station project. “Bye Babe” came about after Chen commented on a radio show that his dream collaborator would be 10cm, a folkpop band featuring Kwon Jungyeol, who the EXO member had listened to since high school.
