     Tweet   The EFCC  has arrested a “pastor’’ over an alleged contract scam of N1.8 billion. The commission spokesman, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, who disclosed this in a statement in Abuja on Thursday, identified the suspect as James Ezekiel. Ezekiel, according to the commission’s spokesman, claimed to be the presiding pastor of One Touch Power Ministry, Agudama, Epie in Bayelsa. He said the suspect was arrested by operatives at the Port-Harcourt Zonal Office of the commission. Uwujaren said the suspect allegedly defrauded an unsuspecting victim of N1.3 million by deceiving him to enlist as one of the “financiers’’ of a spurious N1.8 billion contract. The 39-year-old accused reportedly committed the offence on the 6th of May 2018 at 11 Moremi Line 10 in Ile Ife Osun state. The victim, Pastor Kayode Oluwawemimo sustained injuries to his left hand and the back during a disagreement that turned violent. A pastor, Adedayo Adeyemo, on Wednesday asked an Ado-Ekiti Customary Court to dissolve the nine-year-old marriage between him and his wife, Kemi. The petitioner sought the dissolution on the grounds that his wife is  lazy, lacks care for the children and is being adamant to correction and loss of love. By Dayo Johnson Akure—A policeman and a Pastor/ businessman, Oluwafemi Akomolafe, have been shot dead during a shoot-out between police detectives and suspected kidnappers along Ore expressway, Ondo state.
