Two Friends Kick It Old School in ‘Bandaid’ Video: Exclusive

Los Angeles duo Two Friends are making the most of their golden years in the video for their latest single “Bandaid,” premiering exclusively on Billboard today (Aug. 14). The visual takes the song’s desperate search for a rebound romance to a new level that required some deep commitments from the pair, composed of Matt Halper and Eli Sones. According to the group, the idea came about during a conversation with director Justin Pagano, who also directed the “Just A Kid” video earlier this year, in which they asked themselves, “What is the most absurd way we can demonstrate this situation?” The answer came in the form of two geriatric love interests hitting the town in the prime of their lives. One night before her “Carpool Karaoke” segment is scheduled to air on The Late Late Show, Grande joined host James Corden on Monday (Aug. 13) to breathe some new life into the score of James Cameron’s epic love story. Grande and Corden teamed up for a one-shot “Soundtrack to Titanic” bit that had them sining 13 iconic songs on 9 sets in five minutes.  It was a lot, but they pulled it off with breathless glee, jumping in with Styx’s “Come Sail Away,” of course, which segued into Corden crooning Hall & Oates’ “Rich Girl” to an unimpressed Grande, who fanned herself until the groove of Timbaland’s “The Way I Are” inspired her t...

Gnash Begs Self-Doubt to Leave Him Alone in ‘dear insecurity’: Listen

Singer-songwriter gnash has become an unofficial voice for the lonely and uncomfortable throughout his career, with contemplative tunes like “the broken hearts club” and his hit with Olivia O’Brien, “i hate u, i love u.” His newest single, “dear insecurity,” follows the same, all too relatable theme. With the help of Ben Abraham’s raw vocals and gnash’s characteristic stripped-down sound, the crooner writes a letter to his insecurities, asking them to go away so he can “be proud of who I am.”  He even references Alessia Cara’s smash single, “Scars to Your Beautiful,” in an interesting intertwining of self-love advocates, musing, “It’s not about mistakes you made or failures that you had/It̵...
