Singer Chidinma Ekile makes movie debut with ‘The Bridge’ (Photos)

Nigerian singer, Chidinma Ekile, just made her movie debut with “The Bridge”, and it is a movie directed by award-winning director by Kunle Afolayan and Produced by Lasun Ray. Actor Ademola Adedoyin played the role of Chidinma’s boyfriend, in the movie whose plot is about a Yoruba prince  and a young Igbo lady whose romantic relationship is threatened by tribal prejudice and their parents’ plan for their lives. The couple however secretly got married, and eventually ended thee feud of tribalism between both families. Other actors who featured in the movie set to be released on December 8 include; Binta Ayo Mogaji, Zack Orji, Kunle Afolayan, Tina Mba, Adebayo Salami, Lere Paimo Wole Olowomojuore, Lanre Hassan, Jimoh Aliu, Mama Ray-Eyiwumi.

Comedian Acapella survives ghastly motor accident (photos)

Nigerian comedian, Acapella, survived a ghastly motor accident that occurred while on his way to the airport after a show in Abuja on Sunday evening. Former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme is alive, stable and responding to treatment, an official of Memfys Neuro-surgical Hospital in Enugu, has said. The official told newsmen in Enugu on Tuesday that ”Ekwueme is still in Memfys Hospital”, even though President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered he should be flown abroad for better care. Dr Ekwueme The former vice president was admitted into the hospital for chest infection. Contrary to reports in some quarters, the former vice president is stable and doing well.
